  • My small but mighty #UKGE game haul. I queued up like a true Brit to grab those Saashi and Saashi games. 😂
  • I can't believe I've never played Charioteer before! It's a chariot race with hand management. Sometimes you can go fast, sometimes your opponent gives you damage. All the while, the emperor will give you skills bonuses if you give him what he wants. It's crazy fun. I want to play again with the max 6 people! Thanks @goat.gram for teaching!

Today's game day was spent learning how to play Successors. Man, what a fantastic game! Alexander the Great has died, but he didn't decide on an heir to mext rule his empire. Players are trying to establish legitimacy to the throne or conquer enough regions. It's a card-driven game that can go for five turns, where cards are played for events or operation points, or both.

I started with the general that had Alexander's body, which you can bury in Macedonia all the way across the other side of the map for a lot of points, or you can just hunker down and bury him anywhere in the desert and defend that location for the rest of the game.
