  • Learned to play The Weimar Republic from GMT during game day on Saturday. It's a specific time period I didn't know a lot about, and after seeing all those political factions in play and how that fascist movement came to power in Germany in this time period, well I just have to say that history often repeats itself. Enjoyed the game mechanisms and the tension of playing an event card that will help your opponent so that you get two actions instead of one on your turn. #boardgames #boardgamegeek #bgg #wargames #boardgamesofinstagram
  • We busted out Persuasion at game night. It’s a Victorian game of courtship. You have to draw a seal on your cards so people will know which cards are yours, and which cards you have peeked at, in an effort to maybe propose to another player who may have the attributes you're looking for. My buddy wanted to draw Godzilla on his card and it just got more and more chaotic! What an absurdly fun game! . . . #boardgames #boardgamegeek #bgg #boardgamesofinstagram #hollandspiele
  • "They're here, aren't they?" 👽 "Mr. Mulder, they've been here for a long, long time." I grew up being a hard-core fan of the X-Files, even being part of a lunchtime fan club in school. (We would wheel in the TV cart to watch VHS tapes of episodes). So now, as an adult, I had to absolutely purchase this set. We busted out Persuasion at game night. It’s a Victorian game of courtship. You have to draw a seal on your cards so people will know which cards are yours, and which cards you have peeked at, in an effort to maybe propose to another player who may have the attributes you're looking for.
