Whoa, where did December go?!? Hope everybody had a wonderful and safe holiday season. It’s been a busy and fun few weeks, hence the lack of posts here, but I’m planning to be back on the regular again in 2016.

That feeling when you get an original version of Nana. 😍 This orignal version of the game, reprinted and called Trio in America (and completely rethemed), is so adorable and best described as a nomination between Go Fish and Memory. You have to win three sets of cards, or two sets of cards that equal seven, or one set of 7's. On your turn, you play your highest or lowest card, or you can ask your opponent to play their highest or lowest card. You'll eventually start to deduce which cards your opponent has and force them to play certain cards so you can complete your sets. Isn't the animal artwork just the cutest?

Had a lovely weekend of gaming attending not one but two events! Played Concordia, an old favorite, and taught Space Base on Saturday afternoon. I then played Her Story and Bonsai with another group later that evening. All these games are so fun in their own unique way! How was your weekend?

The most stressful Oink game! 😂 Rafter Five is a fun dexterity game where players are placing strips of "lumber" onto a raft so that one of the rafters and one of your treasure chests can sit on it. It's a tough balancing act because eventually you'll have to pick up a rafter, who may be the only thing holding the pieces of lumber together. This game was a hit at dinner with friends last night!
